Artist Commission Opportunity

Are you an artist or creative living in Southwark or London with a connection to Southwark? We want to hear from you! 

Hive Curates is working on an exciting project next year and is looking to make contact with Southwark-based artists who might be interested in applying for the commission opportunities.

We will be commissioning three artworks under two types of commission: 

• One public sculpture (artist must have experience of delivering outdoor sculpture).

• Two wall-based artworks (with the potential to be site specific installations, textural, dynamic, kinetic or digital)

The artworks should foster a sense of sustainability and future innovation to match the ambition of the development and client.

Each opportunity has its own budget which will be communicated once the Open Call goes live in early 2025, at this stage we are just looking for expressions of interest. 

If interested, please get in touch stating which commission your work would link to, provide 2-3 images from your portfolio and links to your socials or website.

Artists will be selected Spring 2025 with the site going live October-December later that year.
